Staying safe

Order safely & avoid scams.

We want every customer to feel confident they’re dealing with the real 3D Essentials. Here’s how to check, how we take payment, and the things we’ll never ask you to do.

Version 1.11  ·  6 October 2026  ·  Freddie Sparrow. The registered version of this page, with its published fingerprint, lives at 3dessentials.co.uk/staying-safe.

In short

We only ever contact you from the channels listed below, we only take payment through a secure payment link sent after your order is finalised, and our bank details never change. If anything looks different from this, stop and check with us directly.

01

Our only official channels

These are the only ways the real 3D Essentials will contact you or take your order:

  • Websites: 3dessentials.co.uk (the shop, your account and every order), freddiesparrow.co.uk (the business itself) and marketing.freddiesparrow.co.uk (video and print work). Those three, and no others. Lookalike addresses are not ours — freddiesparrow.com and freddiesparrow.uk have nothing to do with us, and neither does any other address that only looks close. Do not sign in, pay or reply there. One rule worth keeping in your head: ordering, signing in and paying only ever happen on 3dessentials.co.uk. If any other address — including one that looks like ours — asks you to sign in or pay, it is not us.
  • Email: hello@3dessentials.co.uk or hello@freddiesparrow.co.uk — check the part after the @ matches exactly. Every genuine address ends @3dessentials.co.uk or @freddiesparrow.co.uk — those two domains, nothing else.
  • Business line: +44 7466 870930 is the business line of Freddie Sparrow Limited, which runs this site.
  • Automatic emails — order updates, account confirmations, receipts — come from no-reply@3dessentials.co.uk, noreply@3dessentials.co.uk, automated@3dessentials.co.uk or hello@freddiesparrow.co.uk. Emails sent before 6 October 2026 may also come from orders@3dessentials.co.uk. A send-only address says so in the email itself; if you need us, write to hello@3dessentials.co.uk, which is read by a person. Every address we send from ends in @3dessentials.co.uk or @freddiesparrow.co.uk — an email about your order from any other domain is not from us, however convincing the name in front of it looks.
  • Phone: +44 7466 870930, the business line of Freddie Sparrow Limited. It is the only number we call or answer from, and it is printed on all our legal documents, so you can check a number against something we published without signing in to anything first.
  • iMessage, Signal & WhatsApp: on that same number — please use the order format on our contact page so genuine orders aren’t mistaken for spam.
  • YouTube: @FreddieSparrowOfficial, and that is the only channel we post from. It is Freddie’s own channel and carries his own work as well as ours. A second channel is reserved for the company, Freddie Sparrow Limited, and nothing is published on it yet — when that changes, this page will say so before it happens. We will never ask you to pay for anything through a YouTube comment or a direct message.

If you’re contacted from any other address, number, account or website claiming to be us, treat it as suspicious.

02

How we take payment

There are two ways, and no others. Either you pay from your own account, where an accepted quote shows a Pay button that hands you to a checkout page hosted by Stripe; or we send you a secure payment link or invoice, processed by Stripe or Monzo. Which one applies depends on the order and we will tell you. Either way your card number and security code are typed on the payment provider’s own page and never touch this website, our server or our database, and money settles into our Monzo business account. Nothing is ever charged automatically or on a schedule: you pay when you are ready, against a quote you have accepted. For the full picture, see our Security page.

We will never

Pressure you to pay instantly, ask you to pay in gift cards, vouchers or cryptocurrency, ask for payment to a random personal account that we haven’t confirmed, or ask for your full card number, PIN, online-banking password or one-time security codes. Anyone doing this is not us.

03

What a genuine change will look like

Businesses change, and criminals know that a change is the easiest moment to rob somebody. So here is how you will hear about any change from us, written down in advance on a page you can check against later.

Our details can change — an address, a phone number, the way an invoice looks. When anything changes, it will be written here first, so you can always check a surprise against this page rather than against an email that surprised you.

The one that matters

Our bank details will not change, and we will never email you to say they have. Not at the end of a tax year, not when anything else about us changes, not ever. An email, letter or call telling you our account has changed and asking you to pay somewhere new is fraud, however well it is written and whoever it appears to come from. If you get one, do not reply to it — ring 07516 880903 or the business line of Freddie Sparrow Limited on +44 7466 870930, or write to hello@freddiesparrow.co.uk and ask.

The same goes in the other direction: if an invoice from us ever looks different from the last one in a way this page does not explain, treat it as suspicious until you have checked. We would far rather answer a question than see anyone lose money.

04

How to spot a scam

  • Urgency and pressure — “pay now or lose your slot”.
  • An email address or website that’s almost right but slightly misspelled.
  • A request to switch to a different payment method at the last minute.
  • Unexpected refunds, overpayments, or requests to “send some back”.
  • Messages full of spelling mistakes, or asking for personal security details.

When in doubt, don’t click links in the message. Come straight to 3dessentials.co.uk and contact us using the details above.

05

About the previous owner of the shop’s domain

3dessentials.co.uk was acquired from the company it previously belonged to, a business Freddie had been working with. We are a separate business. Any message, invoice or order claiming to be from that previous company is nothing to do with us — if you need to reach them, email us and we’ll point you in the right direction. See our Terms for details.

06

Worried about something?

If you think you’ve been targeted by someone pretending to be us, please let us know at hello@freddiesparrow.co.uk so we can warn others. If you’ve lost money or shared bank details, contact your bank straight away and report it to Action Fraud (or call 159 to reach your bank safely).

This guidance is provided to help you stay safe and does not reduce your responsibilities or ours under our terms of use or the shop’s terms of sale.
