Marketing

Marketing happens under two names.

Which one you see depends on who is being spoken to, not on who you are dealing with.

01Two routes to market
01

Through the 3D Essentials trading style

Most of it. Anything aimed at a customer — the shop, the product pages, the quotes, the emails, the print and the social posts about what is being made — goes out as 3D Essentials, because that is the name the work is bought under. Advertising, listings, sponsored placements and the schools and business outreach all carry that name.

02

Directly, under its own name

Some of it does not belong to a trading style. Both YouTube channels and the person who appears in them, partnerships and sponsorships offered to the business as a whole, supplier and trade relationships, recruitment, and anything addressed to the business rather than to its customers, go out as Freddie Sparrow Limited directly.

Either way, it is the same business

A trading name is a name, not a separate legal person. Freddie Sparrow Limited is the advertiser, the publisher and the contracting party behind both, it is responsible for what either of them says, and any contract you make under either name is a contract with the company. Where a post, video or placement is paid for or sponsored, it is marked as such — under whichever name it went out.

02Marketing sold to other people

The business also sells marketing work — product photography, short-form video, print, signage and brand work — to other businesses anywhere in the UK, with calls available UK-wide too. That is a separate thing from how it markets itself: it has its own site and its own terms, and it is sold by the business directly rather than under a trading name.
